Celebrating the people, teams and companies building what’s next across Sussex.

Thursday 17th June 2026 | Shelter Hall, Brighton

Powered by Silicon Brighton

Sussex punches well above its weight in tech. Fast-growing startups, ambitious scale-ups, founders taking real risks, and teams building products that matter, often without much fanfare beyond the community itself.

The EVOLVE Awards exist to change that. One night. Eleven categories. A room full of the people helping shape what comes next. This is not a pay-to-play awards scheme. Nominations are free, open to anyone to submit, and judged by an independent panel with no sponsor involvement.

If you know someone doing brilliant work, this is your chance to say so. Nominations are open to individuals based in Sussex and companies registered in Sussex.

Award categories

A new business making waves. Open to companies trading no earlier than September 2023. Judges will be looking for traction, growth and momentum, not just a good idea on paper.

Why these awards?

The EVOLVE Awards grew out of a simple observation: there is no shortage of brilliant work happening in Sussex tech, there is just a shortage of it being properly recognised.

Across the region, people are building companies, products, teams and careers that deserve more visibility.

Eleven categories cover the full picture, from first-time founders to established scale-ups, from individual leaders to whole workplace cultures. Whether you are nominating a colleague, a competitor you admire, or putting yourself forward, this is about giving credit where it is due.
